The HIDEX Oxidiser 600 OXC is a fully automatic, catalytic burner for biological and organic labelled samples (H-3 or C-14) for quench-free sample preparation in liquid scintillation applications, using state-of-the-art technologies for control, monitoring, and recording the process flow.

The HIDEX Oxidizer 600 OXC uses a 6-position scintillation rack for 20ml vials. The samples are weighed into ceramic boats and placed in HIDEX Oxidiser 600 OXC on 6 quartz glass spoons. The number of samples and the combustion time are defined on the touchscreen. After pushing the START button, the samples are automatically burned in the oxygen stream and collected in scintillation vials with automatically filled scintillation cocktail. The vials can be closed directly with the vial lids in the scintillation rack and then measured in the Hidex 600 SL. The vials can of course also be transferred to LSC devices with a different rack configuration.
